Measuring Shadows

To conclude our topic on light, today in science we did an experiment to see which objects created the darkest shadows.

We did this by shining a light at the object and measuring the darkness of its shadow against a piece of paper using a grey scale.

We found that opaque objects produced the darkest shadows because no light could pass through them.
